Jumeirah’s portfolio also branches out to other hospitality and tourism-related industries, such as Talise, a chain of five star Dubai-based fitness clubs and international spas, encompassing healthy living and wellness. The group has also recently launched The J Club at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in partnership with Embody Fitness, providing residents and guests access to a premium lifestyle and wellness club when in the region.
Jumeirah Group has a dedicated food and beverage division, headed up by Chief Culinary Officer, Michael Ellis, ex-Global Director of the Michelin Guide. Ellis is in charge of spearheading new concepts and culinary innovation for the group. Four new signature offerings have been launched since he joined, with Rockfish and KAYTO opening their doors to guests in Dubai, while menu concepts for Shimmers and Zheng He’s were also updated.
