DUBAI, 14 September 2005: The World Economic Forum will be leading a private brainstorming session with its Strategic Partners from the Arab world in Dubai, hosted by Dubai Holding. The brainstorming session will feed in content on the global agenda and the challenges facing the Arab world for the upcoming 2006 Annual Meeting in Davos.

Dubai Holding is a partner of the World Economic Forum. The meeting will be held in Dubai on 17th September 2005.

"The World Economic Forum is conducting this type of brainstorming sessions in an effort to involve its key supporters in the region on the content and focus of its prestigious Annual Meeting, stated Ahmad bin Byat, Chief Executive Officer of Technology, e-Commerce and Media Free Zone (TECOM).

"The objective is really to identify sessions for the programme, share knowledge and help the World Economic Forum to understand from its partners in the region how the Middle East (and other topics) should be approached in the debates of the Annual Meeting," added Bin Byat, who represents Dubai Holding at the event.
