Dubai Holding’s Sandstorm named Qualifying event for The Obstacle Course Racing World Championships 2017

The Obstacle Course Racing World Championships (OCRWC), obstacle course racing's independent world championship, announced today the addition of Sandstorm as a featured qualifying event for the 2017 World Championships.

To be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai on February 10, 2017, Sandstorm is the largest and first-of-its kind obstacle race in Dubai.

Set across 5KM and 10KM distances, the race is open to all fitness levels and backgrounds and encompasses more than 40 unique obstacles that integrate with Dubai’s sand dunes, lakes, greenery and wild life. The racetrack is designed by an award-winning team of international course designers, offering a fully immersive experience for the participants throughout the full circuit.

Sandstorm marks the 10th year anniversary celebrations of Dubai Holding Corporate Wellness Programme, the region’s first employee focused programme of its kind.
