Christopher Bryan won the Dubai Holding Burj Al Arab Swim part of Global Swim Series, the world’s largest series of open water swim races globally, with a time of 23 minutes and 41 seconds. Kayleigh Dawson from Great Britain won the women’s 1600 m category in 25m52s.

Nearly 450 swimmers participated in the 13th edition raising AED 160,000 for Al Jalila Foundation’s Obesity Research Fund, marking the 2017 Year of Giving.
