Dubai Internet City’s Supports DoCamp UAE 2010

15 May, 2010 – Dubai Internet City, the region’s largest managed ICT business park and a member of TECOM Investments, today announced DoCamp UAE attracted a healthy turnout of techno-preneurs, IT enthusiasts and individuals at the interactive conference.
Supported by DIC for the second successive year, DoCamp featured a series of lively discussions on new world developments, media, online, innovations specifically on ways the online era has evolved and impacted the social and corporate order of things.

The unique conference also drew the participation of online social media forums with over 100 viewers from all over the world tuning in to webcam technology.
The event came as part of Dubai Internet City’s commitment to promoting innovation and progress through technological avenues.

DoCamp, BarCamp UAE’s latest edition, witnessed the exchange of views on a wide range of topics including the use of the Internet and its potential complexities, the need to choose doing business that leads with integrity, and the challenge to ensure children’s usage of the Internet in a responsible manner.

Unlike traditional conferences, BarCamps around the world are known for its non-conference feel. People interested in a wide range of social topics from technology and its impact on lives to discovering the road to a better-self through music, movement and meaning come together informally to participate, teach and learn.
