TECOM Investments Education Cluster Hosts Annual Iftar Gathering for Partners

28 August, 2010 – TECOM Investments Education Cluster comprising Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV) and Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), organised the annual Iftar gathering at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Dubai.

Dr Ayoub Kazim, Managing Director, Education Cluster – TECOM Investments, welcomed over 300 guests including senior officials and business partners based at the cluster.

The evening included a presentation by Sara Ahmad Baker, Community Service Unit Coordinator from Dubai Autism Center, the non-profit organisation serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, on early signs of autism in children and the services being provided by the centre.

DIAC continues to propel the growth of the education sector and hosts over 30 institutions from 11 different countries. Approximately 16,000 students are currently enrolled into the various programmes offered at the campuses within DIAC.
