Malek Al Malek to Deliver Keynote Address on Opportunities in Outsourcing

Dubai: 19 April, 2010 – Dubai Outsource Zone, the world’s first free zone dedicated to the outsourcing industry and a member of TECOM Investments, today announced a strategic partnership with the Arab Outsourcing Forum for the second consecutive year to support the unique business needs of the Middle East region.

To be held from 25-28 April at the Jumeirah Beach hotel, the Arab Outsourcing Forum titled ‘Creating Sustainable Value through Transformational Outsourcing’ is expected to attract over 250 key industry players to examine the challenges faced by the outsourcing industry in the region.

Industry reports from the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals in 2009 reveal that major outsourcing contracts with global giants have increased cost savings to the tune of up to hundreds of millions of dollars, with a rise in quality of services of 94.5 per cent compared with 87 per cent prior to taking the outsourcing route.

The report also highlights the relative stability of outsourcing contracts with customers in spite of the financial impact its had on their businesses, where 43 per cent of contracts remain continually unchanged and only five per cent of the contracts curtailed or were cancelled.
