Dubai Internet City to Partner with Middle East Communications Exhibition and Conference (MECOM) for Fourth Successive Year
Dubai: 7 April, 2009: Dubai Internet City (DIC), the region’s leading managed ICT business park, and a member of TECOM Investments, today announced it is the industry partner of the Middle East Communications Exhibition and Conference (MECOM) 2010, the region’s Leading B2B communications technology and solutions event.
To be held from 17-19 May at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), MECOM 2010 is held under the patronage of H.E Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy and will host over 250 leading communications companies worldwide.
The event will also host an exclusive Telecom CEO Summit bringing in over 35 decision makers from leading telco operators in the region. A discussion to address the challenges the telco industry face will take place to help understand the current industry landscape as well as identify ways in which they can work closer together with government decision makers.
Official industry leaders are scheduled to speak at the event during the panel discussion including His Excellency Mohamed El Ghanim, Director General, TRA; Osman Sultan, CEO, du; Nayla Khawam, CEO, Orange Jordan and Jawad Abassi, CEO, Arab Advisors Group.
