The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management offers TOEFL preparation courses
Enjoy living in Dubai while preparing for the Test of English as a Foreign Language.
Dubai, 24 August 2009: To enter most English-speaking universities, students raised in another language need to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the most widely accepted English-language test in the world. The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), one of the world’s leading hospitality management schools and part of the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company, Jumeirah Group, has recently added TOEFL preparation courses to its extensive study program.
There are four different course levels on offer, running from three to six months depending on the English level and needs of each student. Native-speaking English teachers use a dynamic and modern approach utilising course books, audio-visuals aids, games, role-plays, written assignment and specially-created material to develop skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. The last month of the course is exclusively devoted to TOEFL preparation, ending with the TOEFL exam.
Ron Hilvert, Managing Director of the EAHM, commented:
The unique international environment of the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management allows students to prepare for and do their TOEFL while living and studying in Dubai, one of the most dynamic cities in the world, with opportunities to make new friends from other cultures, culminating in an extraordinary learning experience.
During the course of study the students will live on the EAHM campus in a fully-furnished studio. The EAHM facilities include a swimming pool, gym, tennis and basketball courts, three restaurants, internet and library access, and is located within walking distance of the beach and attractions such as Wild Wadi Waterpark.
Courses start at AED 33,085 for a three months programme (Intermediate to Advanced levels) and include tuition fees, instruction materials, laptop with IT support and accommodation on the EAHM campus. The next class will start in late September 2009.
