Dubai Properties Group to Host ’Al Barza‘ Ramadan Tent at Jumeirah Beach Residence

Samsung to Sponsor Authentic Beachfront Venue Evoking Region’s Heritage and Culture

Dubai: 17 August, 2009 – Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, today announced it will mark the Holy Month of Ramadan with a unique and authentic 300-seat tent hosting daily Iftar and Sohour at The Walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR).

Samsung, the global leader in consumer electronics and advanced technology solutions, are on board as platinum sponsors, and Arabian Radio Network (ARN), subsidiary of the Arab Media Group (AMG), will be the media partners for the month-long event.

For first time visitors to The Walk, ‘Al Barza‘ will be an ideal place to experience the traditions of Ramadan at Dubai’s only outdoor retail avenue by the sea. A spectrum of traditional activities, including a live oud player, will enhance the authentic ambience of the tent.

Evocative of the region’s heritage and serving a wide assortment of Arabic and North African cuisine, the tent will welcome visitors from 7.00pm to 2.00am on weekdays and 7.00pm to 3.00am during the weekends.
