Dubai Mercantile Exchange

Dubai Mercantile Exchange is a joint venture between Dubai Holding, Oman Investment Fund and CME Group, creating the Middle East’s first energy futures and commodities exchange.

In line with the UAE’s vision to make Dubai a regional energy hub, Dubai Holding invested in Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) in a joint venture partnership with New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), a division if CME, focusing on the services and downstream side of the oil and gas industry.

With its location, DME represents an ideal platform to bridge the trading time zone gap between Europe and Asia, further developing the regional and global energy futures industry. It is aligned with Dubai’s vision of a world-class trading and business hub.

Regulated by Dubai Financial Services Authority, Dubai Mercantile Exchange represents the premier energy-focused commodity exchange in the Middle East, advocating fair and transparent pricing and robust risk management.
