Dubai Holding offers a range of free classes and activities throughout Dubai Fitness Challenge

Dubai Holding, the global investment holding company, is hosting a series of classes and activities in coordination with the Dubai Fitness Challenge. Aiming to make Dubai the most physically active global city, the Dubai Fitness Challenge encourages residents to commit to 30 minutes of activity every day for 30 days. Dubai Holding companies – including Jumeirah Group, TECOM Group, and Dubai Properties – are supporting this goal by offering a range of free events and fitness activities for all ages and fitness levels.

Commenting on the programme, Edris Al Rafi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding, said:

“At Dubai Holding, physical fitness has become a core piece of our identity. Ten years ago, we established our award-winning Corporate Wellness programme to encourage health and well-being for our staff and our community. Today, fitness permeates our corporate culture, and we are proud to support this exciting initiative as a sponsor.”

Jumeirah Group’s Talise Fitness is offering free daily classes, which include high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Pilates, and core training, and will be open to all members of the public at multiple locations on alternating days. Beach volleyball, Zumba, and yoga classes will also be offered to hotel guests at several of Jumeirah Group’s iconic properties across Dubai.

Dubai Properties is also offering a range of activities and classes for residents of its many communities across Dubai, including Shorooq, Ghoroob, Al Khail Gate, Layan, and Remraam. Activities include football, basketball, swimming, martial arts, yoga, and a fitness “boot camp” in select locations.

People working in TECOM Group’s business communities –  including Dubai Internet City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Knowledge Park, Dubai Design District, and Dubai International Academic City – can also take part in an exciting range of fitness classes and competitions, taking place for the remaining days of the challenge.

Since its establishment in 2007, The Dubai Holding Wellness Programme has actively and positively impacted employees and the wider community through a series of activities, planned interventions and multidisciplinary platforms aimed at promoting a healthier, happier and more active nation.

Last month, Dubai Holding announced its three-year partnership with the UAE-based action sports brand XDubai, which will encourage people across the UAE to push their limits with new events and activations at iconic destinations and communities across the Group’s extensive portfolio.
