Corporate Social Responsibility

We are committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and have group-wide initiatives based on our business ethos: 'For the good of tomorrow'.

We take pride in our commitment to the environment and the welfare of the society in which we operate. Dubai Holding will always act responsibly and ethically; it is a company strategic objective to be a considerate corporate citizen. And every effort is made to ensure that our principles are applied in our everyday business.

Over the past few years, Dubai Holding has supported a range of Group CSR initiatives including the Sponsorship of the UAE National Football team and Earth Hour, which in 2009 saw Dubai contributing 146,000kWh of electricity savings to the Global initiative.

Within our four vertical sectors, CSR initiatives are managed by our leading companies and include the following:

Cleaning Up UAE

An annual event hosted by Dubai Properties Group in connection with Emirates Environment Group. Within our Business Parks vertical, we also coordinate The Green Building Initiative and Energy and Water Conservation.

Tawasul/Reach Out

An education and awareness programme for young people and Supply Chain & Logistics Supplier Diversity Development Initiative (SDD) – which promotes UAE businesses, are managed by companies within our Hospitality sector.
